The SD2 works on all Lifedop series dopplers and is intended for late-term fetal heartbeats. Due to the broad-beam technology in the Lifedop series of dopplers, it has a large overlap with what was traditionally a 3MHz task (early term). This probe is the standard selection for anything after 15 weeks gestation.
